BEAVERTON, Ore. -- A 34-year-old man pulled from a burning Aloha townhouse last week has died from injuries suffered in the fire, hospital officials said.
Gang Huo and his 11-year-old son, Tengyuan Huo, both required CPR after firefighters pulled them from the home at 3159 SW Jaden Drive Thursday morning. They were hospitalized with critical injuries, but the boy was upgraded to serious condition Thursday night.
Gang Huo died in the Legacy Emanuel Hospital Burn Center Sunday, a hospital spokesperson said. Tengyuan Huo was still in serious condition Monday.
The boy's mother, 40-year-old Jia Zeng, was also pulled from the fire. She was treated at two Portland hospitals and released hours later.
