PORTLAND -- A man convicted of cutting the hair of women on TriMet buses in 2009 is back in jail on new, unrelated charges.

Jared Walter, 26, was in court Tuesday to face a judge on several charges, including sex abuse, public indecency and disorderly conduct. He pleaded not guilty and will be back in court on June 21.

According to Sgt. Pete Simpson, Walter masturbated and then ejaculated onto the backs of women s heads on multiple occasions.

Police have identified at least three victims and said they believe there could be several more. Walter frequented bus lines between downtown Portland, Milwaukie and Oregon City, specifically lines 31, 33 and 99.

Several agencies worked together on the investigation, and Walter was arrested while trying to board a bus in downtown Portland.

Walter was recently paroled from prison and was on post-prison supervision in Clackamas County after pleading guilty to the previous bus hair-cutting charges.

Possible victims or people with more information were encouraged to call the police.
