PORTLAND -- A man involved in several Occupy Portland protests in the past is accused of driving his car through a downtown park, causing damage.
Police said Joshua Jacquot drove through Terry Schrunk Plaza early Wednesday morning, tearing up the grass.
Arriving officers found a car in the center of the park, stuck in the mud, with a man outside the car dancing, said Lt. Robert King of the Portland Police Bureau.
Investigators said Jacquot had been kicked out of the same park just day earlier for illegally setting up camp there.
As for this latest infraction, his car was towed away Wednesday and he was arrested for reckless driving. Jacquot was also cited by the Federal Protective Service for damaging the park.
