GOVERNMENT CAMP -- Snow levels in the Northern Oregon Cascades will vary from 5,500 to 2,500 for the balance of Spring Break week.
The best day looks to be Sunday, with a snow level of 2,500 feet, according to KGW meteorologist Nick Allard.
Friday, the snow level will be 5,500 feet and Thursday, 4,500 feet. Wednesday and Saturday, the level hovers around 3,000 feet.
Expect moisture each of those days, Allard said, with partly sunny skies Monday when classes have resumed.
The National Weather service predicts overnight lows Spring Break week at Government Camp of around 30 degrees, but with highs rising near 40 through Friday, and 34 on Saturday.
Timberline Lodge will have highs just near freezing and Mount Hood Meadows in the mid-30s.
Mount Bachelor has lows in the high 20s during the week, with high temperatures rising to around the 40s.
