PORTLAND -- A Portland man was arrested Wednesday for sexually assaulting his uncle and his grandmother, police said.
Police were called just after 10 p.m. Tuesday to the report of a sexual assault inside a home in the Piedmont neighborhood, said Portland police Sgt. Greg Stewart.
Officers arrived and learned that the suspect sexually assaulted his 82-year-old grandmother and his 49-year-old uncle then ran out of the home, Stewart said.
Police could not find the suspect, 34-year-old Willie Andre Johnson, Tuesday night, but his family members called to report Wednesday morning that he was at the McDonald's on Northeast Weidler Street.
Responding officers found Johnson and took him into custody. He was jailed on charges of attempted rape, unlawful sexual penetration, sex abuse, kidnapping and assault.
Johnson is a registered sex offender, after previously being charged with first-degree rape.
