Two parents confronted photography company Lifetouch Canada after receiving a class photo in which their son, who uses a wheelchair, was sitting apart from the rest of his class, The Province reported. In the photo, Miles Ambridge, who has spinal musuclar atrophy, beams from a wheelchair to the side of where his classmates sit. His body leans sideways to be closer to his friends.
After receiving the photo, Miles' mother Anne Belanger posted the photo to Lifetouch Canada's Facebook page and Miles' father Don Ambridge sent the photo to his son's school. On Thursday, Lifetouch admitted that the photographer had made a mistake, and a new photo was taken this week by another Lifetouch photographer.
