SALEM Traffic in Salem was blocked for about an hour-and-a-half Monday morning when a car crashed into a business and severed a natural gas line.

Police said the 25-year-old driver suffered a medical event that made him pass out, before he crashed into the dental office on Lancaster Drive NE and Stortz Avenue. Gas crews were able to shut off the line and no injuries were reported.

The building had minor damage.
