EUGENE, Ore. -- A man wanted by police for stalking could be headed back to the Lane County area after fleeing Oregon, and should be considered armed and dangerous, authorities said.
Ronald Burbach, 78, was on the Electronic Surveillance Program when he left Oregon in violation of his release agreement, according to Sgt. Carrie Carver of the Lane County Sheriff's Office.
Police received a tip that Burbach was possibly returning to Oregon from Missouri. Anyone who sees him is advised not to initiate contact, but instead to call 911 immediately.
Burbach has made threats to kill his victim, law enforcement, and others, and is reported to be armed and dangerous, Carver said.
Burbach was described as 5-foot-11, 175 lbs., with grey hair and brown eyes. He was last seen driving a red Corvette with Oregon license plate 545 BZT.
