PORTLAND, Ore. -- The Jesuit Crusaders and Lake Oswego Lakers faced off in the Oregon Boys 6A Basketball championship game Saturday night in Portland.

Lake Oswego was looking to add a state basketball title to the state high school football championship they won earlier in the school year.

But it was the Crusaders who made history, winning with their fourth straight basketball championship, an OSAA record.

Lake Oswego managed to pull within one in the second half after a basket by Jack Anderson, but the Crusaders pulled away at the end for a 52-42 win.

Jesuit finished their championship season with a 26-2 record.
