MEDFORD, Ore. (AP) -- Prosecutors are going to a grand jury with evidence against a Southern Oregon man accused of killing his wife and four children.

Jackson County Chief Deputy District Attorney Beth Heckert says she will present evidence against Jordan Adam Criado to the grand jury Tuesday afternoon.

Criado is being held without bail on aggravated murder and other charges alleging he stabbed his wife and two of the children, and set fire to the house in Medford on July 18.

Firefighters and medics worked desperately to save all six family members after pulling them from the burning house, but only Criado survived.

He was in a hospital three weeks recovering from smoke inhalation. Once he recovered enough to be discharged, police arrested him.
