VANCOUVER, Wash. -- A shooting at a home in a Clark County neighborhood sent one man to the hospital, and had deputies looking for two suspects who fled on foot.
The shooting happened about 11 a.m. Tuesday at 10015 NE 72nd Circle, just east of the Vancouver city limits. The neighborhood was swarmed by law enforcement including K-9 tracking teams, looking for the two suspects.
Sheriff s office spokesperson Sgt. Scott Schanker said the victim was a 33-year-old man, who was shot once and was expected to survive. The man had surgery shortly after being rushed to the hospital.
Schanker said the victim and the suspects knew each other, and that neighbors in the area were not in danger.
The first suspect was described as a Hispanic male, 30-32 years old, 5'3 , weighing 180 lbs, wearing a green sweater, jeans, and a dark brown baseball cap.
The other man was described as Hispanic, 30-32 years old, 5'8 , 180-200 lbs, wearing a black sweater and jeans.
