PORTLAND - A sketch has been released in the case of several fake $100 bills used to purchase an iPhone.

The suspect used five fake bills to buy an iPhone 5 from a victim he met in Oregon City through a Craigslist ad. The victim learned the bills were fake when trying to deposit them at a bank, according to the Clackamas County Sheriff's Office.

The suspect is described as a white man, 18-25 years old, 6' tall, with light brown hair and distinctive ear piercings. Officials believe the suspect may have given the fake bills to other victims.

Anyone with information should call 503-723-4949 or submit an online report with the sheriff's office.
