BORING, Ore. -- A man wanted in Kansas for child abuse charges was arrested during a marijuana raid in rural Clackamas County Wednesday, police said.
A task force acting on an anonymous tip seized 84 marijuana plants and two guns at a home near Boring, said Lt. James Rhodes of the Clackamas County Sheriff's Office.
While serving the warrant, police arrested 37-year-old Kevin Davis, of Tennessee, who was wanted in Sedgwick County, Kansas on charges of aggravated indecent liberties with a child. He was listed as one of the county's most wanted fugitives, Rhodes said.
Davis was jailed in Clackamas County on felony drug charges and could later be extradited to Kansas to face the child abuse charges.
Another man was found hiding in a crawlspace during the search and was arrested without incident on drug charges, Rhodes said.
