PORTLAND – The Portland Winterhawks’ last game before the holiday break is against the Spokane Chiefs Tuesday at 7 p.m.
The Winterhawks have the league-leading record of 28-5-1-0, according to the team spokesman. The Hawks have gone 24-2 to make the top spot in the WHL’s standings. Portland also leads the U.S. Division by 10 points over second-place Spokane.
The first home game back after break will be at 3 p.m. Saturday, December 29, where the first 5,000 fans will receive a free lift ticket to Mt. Hood Skibowl.
