PORTLAND -- The Portland Thorns returned home from a long road trip Thursday to suffer their first loss of the season.

The Thorns took on second place Sky Blue FC, from New Jersey, and neither team scored until the 80th minute.

Late substitution Taylor Little entered the game for Sky Blue and scored immediately. The Thorns didn’t get a chance to answer.

The Thorns and Sky Blue are now tied for first place in the National Women’s Soccer League.
