Easy Italian chili with corn bread dumplings-a one pot meal!
One package Johnsonville spicy Italian sausage One four oz can of diced green chilis One 28 oz can of diced peeled tomatoes One 15 oz can of chili beans A tsp of chili powder
1/2 cup milk
1/2 cup Marie Calendar's cornbread mix
1 cup Bisquick
1 cup shredded cheese
Chopped chives for garnish
Brown sausage in a large pot. Add chilis, chili powder, and tomatoes and simmer on medium heat for 15 minutes. Stir in beans.
Mix dumpling ingredients and drop by the spoonful over chili, simmer uncovered for ten minutes and covered for ten minutes or until dumplings are cooked through and fluffy. Serve hot, top with cheese, sour cream, chives, etc.
