The Oregon County Register reported that UCLA's athletic director flew to Eugene to meet with Bellotti and on Friday the coach confirmed the meeting.

"I listened, and UCLA talked, and I told them I was not interested," Bellotti told KGW, saying he plans to stay at the University of Oregon.
