OSU women's basketball defeats Hawaii

HONOLULU -- Ashley Allen reached the 20-point plateau for the third straight game and Brittney Davis and Tiffany Ducker both reached double-digits as the Oregon State women's basketball team defeated Hawaii, 70-57 last night -- in Honolulu.
With the win, the Beavers improved to 2-1 at the Island Imaging Paradise Classic.
Allen was named to the all-tournament team after finishing with 78 points over the three games. Davis finished with double-digits for the sixth straight game. Ducker scored 12 and grabbed five rebounds in the win.
Overall, Oregon State out-rebounded Hawaii, 29-23, and posted eight steals to the Rainbow Wahine's six.
Oregon State came out of the gates quickly in the second half, making three straight 3-pointers, including the first two by Allen.
