Huskies to open against Ducks in 2008

WALNUT CREEK, Calif. (AP) -- The Pac-10 announced today the Washington Huskies will open their 2008 season against Oregon at Husky Stadium in Seattle on Saturday, Aug. 30.
The date of the game was moved from Saturday, Sept. 13.
The Huskies had been scheduled to open next season against Brigham Young at Husky Stadium on Saturday, Sept. 6. That date remains the same on Washington's 2008 schedule.

The league today announced the dates of two other Huskies games have been moved, too. The Washington-Oklahoma game at Husky Stadium was moved from Saturday, Sept. 20, to Saturday, Sept. 13, and the Washington-California game at Berkeley was moved from Saturday, Oct. 11, to Saturday, Dec. 6.
No Washington State football dates were moved.
