SEATTLE -- Seahawks coach Mike Holmgren denies fabricating noise for opponents at Qwest Field.

Responding to a Seattle Times story about allegations of artificial noise piped into the stadium, Holmgren told KIRO Radio "That's not the case at our place."
The paper says an NFL observer will be monitoring Sunday's game against the New York Giants because of the allegations.
Holmgren says he guesses the allegations came from the Giants.
The coach says the story is likely to prompt Seattle fans to make even more noise on Sunday.
He says, "We don't need any extra noise. The fans do it for us."
In a noisy Qwest Field last season the Giants had eleven false-start penalties in the game the Seahawks won 24-21 in overtime.
