OSU's Inman wins rowing bronze
12:37 PM PDT on Monday, August 18, 2008
Former Oregon State University rower Josh Inman can now also call himself an Olympic medalist.
The Hillsboro High School graduate and his USA teammates won the bronze medal in the Men's eight rowing competition over the weekend at the Summer Olympics in Beijing.
Inman told KGW's Stephanie Stricklen what it felt like during the medal race:
"It's probably the best thing you can feel in racing, when you are moving through other crews and gaining seats on other boats," said a thrilled Inman afterwards.
Canada rowed to the gold medal and Great Brittain edged the Americans for the silver medal.
