Portland's first-round pick averaged 30 points per game and was named the summer league's Most Valuable Player.
The 6-foot-3 guard from Arizona wrapped up the award Saturday night, when he scored 17 fourth-quarter points and hit the game-winning jumper to lead the Trail Blazers to a one-point win over the Phoenix Suns.
Bayless' performance also got him named to the USA Men's Select Team, which will help prepare the U.S. Olympic squad for Beijing.
