OSU rower qualifies for Olympics

CORVALLIS, Ore. -- Former Oregon State University rower Josh Inman is headed to the Beijing Olympics.
Inman, a graduate of Hillsboro High School, qualified in the men's pair.

He'll be teamed with Matt Schnobrich of St. Paul, Minnesota.
This is the first appearance in the Olympics for both rowers.
At Oregon State, Inman led the Beavers to a fourth-place finish in the 2002 Intercollegiate Rowing Association National Championships in New Jersey.
Other O-S-U athletes headed for China include current swimmer Saori Haruguchi, who is representing Japan and current wrestler Heinrich Barnes, who will be competing for South Africa.
Former soccer standout Robbie Findley is a member of the USA Team and is a candidate to make the Olympics.
