"To start out with Oregon State is apropos," coach George Horton said. "I can't think of a more exciting way to begin for baseball fans in the state, our program and Oregon baseball in general."
Oregon State leads the all-time series 150-144. The Beavers were Oregon's last baseball opponent in 1981 when the program was dropped.
Oregon's game at St. Mary's is set for Feb. 20. The home opener will be Feb. 27 against Fresno State.
