MEDICINE HAT, Alberta -- The Portland Winter Hawks have traded 17-year-old forward Tristan King in exchange for 16-year-old prospect Killian Hutt.
King played two seasons with the Hawks scoring 15 goals and adding 25 assists for 40 points in 133 games. Hutt led the Alberta Midget Hockey League in goals during the 2007-08 season recording 33 in 36 games.
The 16-year-old added 33 assists for a total of 66 points while playing for the "AAA" level Knights of Columbus Pats.
Hutt will play for the Hawks next year as a 17-year-old. Medicine Hat originally acquired Hutt with the 126th overall selection of the 2006 Western Hockey League Bantam Draft.
