WSU Cougars advance in NCAA tourney

SACRAMENTO, Calif. (AP) -- The Washington state basketball team defeated Oral Roberts 70-54 to advance to the next round in the N-C-A-A tournament.
The Cougars will play the winner of the Vanderbilt-George Washington game.
Today's victory at Sacramento was the 26th of the season for W.S.U.
Reserve forward Ivory Clark had 19 points and six rebounds for the Cougars, and Kyle Weaver had ten points, eight rebounds and four assists. Taylor Rochestie added 15 points and connected for a key three-pointer as Washington State pulled away in the second half.
