The names were announced this afternoon at Canton, Ohio.

Cortez Kennedy is one of five finalists who spent his entire career with one team. John Randle played 11 seasons with the Minnesota Vikings before finishing his career with the Seahawks. Kennedy was with the Seahawks from 1990-2000 and Randle from 2001-2003.

It's the first time Kennedy has been a finalist.

The 2009 class will be selected Jan. 31, the day before the Super Bowl, in Tampa, Fla.
