'Palm Game'
Le Jeu de Paume (pictured in this undated illustration) was played at the 1908 London Olympics and hasn't been back since. Dating back to the Middle Ages, the "palm game" is the original form of tennis, though it more closely resembles racquetball, where the walls are part of the game. (Hulton-Deutsch Collection/CORBIS)
