LONDON - In the men's 1500 Tuesday, Leo Manzano, all 5’5’’, 122, took silver behind winner Taoufik Makhloufi of Algeria (3:34.08) for gold.
His teammate, Matt Centrowitz, former University of Oregon runner came in fourth.
“Wow. Definitely a hard one 2 swallow,” (sic) he Tweeted. “Did everything I could & just came up short. Been a few years since I’ve cried but couldn't help it lol.”
