UO lineman Heard suspended after arrest

EUGENE, Ore. -- Oregon defensive lineman Eddie Heard has been suspended following an arrest for assault and harassment, according to athletic department spokesman Dave Williford.
 
"He has been suspended from the team with further action dependent as details develop," he told KGW.
 
He was arrested about 6:15 p.m. Wednesday and accused of fourth-degree assault and harassment, according the Daily Emerald.
 
Heard is currently listed on the roster as a redshirt junior.
