Judge orders ex-Blazer Greg Oden to wear GPS

PORTLAND -- A trial date is set for former Trail Blazer Greg Oden, accused of assaulting his ex-girlfriend last week.

Oden went before a judge in Indiana on Monday and was released on bond. The judge on Wednesday said he may leave Indiana, but he must remain on GPS monitoring.

Police believe Oden hit his ex-girlfriend during an argument. Court documents stated that the victim needed three stitches between her eyebrows and her nasal bone was also fractured.

When she was at the hospital, the woman told the staff she hurt herself in a fall, but Oden admitted to hitting her, according to the court documents.

Oden's trial date was set for October 22nd.
