Watch: Football and movie stars rap in Madden video game ad

ENGLEWOOD, Colo. -- It is the most wonderful time of year... for everyone who loves playing virtual football video games. Madden NFL 15 comes out soon, and there's a hilarious and weird new ad for the game that features football and movie stars rapping.

The Madden Season 15 video includes its own catchy tune and features actor/comedian Kevin Hart and actor Dave Franco squaring off in the armchair gridiron franchise.

Hart shows up at Dave Franco's house, and things get pretty crazy. The ad says Madden football season is a competitive time, and an emotional time. So the guys try to get in each other's heads to beat out the competition. Of course, there are dancing girls, and a lot of funny moments.

Portland Trail Blazers' guard Damian Lillard shows up and steals Franco's girlfriend.

Also making cameos are Von Miller - dancing, cowboy hat at all - and Seahawks' cornerback Richard Sherman in full pads tackling an unsuspecting Franco.

LeSean McCoy, Dez Bryant, Colin Kaepernick and Eddie Lacy join in with a "rap" song - literally singing "Blah, blah, blah."

At the end, Kevin Hart and Dave Franco finally sit down to play the actual game.

I don't know if this ad will convince anyone to buy the game, but if it's convinced you, you can buy it in stores starting August 26th.
