Blazers' Aminu to reportedly miss 2-3 weeks after ankle injury

Over the past four games, the Blazers have won just once and are not playing well on offense or defense. During this stretch, they rank 23rd in offense and 15th in defense. Which should be more of a concern to Blazers fans, the offensive woes or a return

PORTLAND, Ore. -- Portland Trail Blazers forward Al-Farouq Aminu will miss two to three weeks after spraining his right ankle during Wednesday's loss to the Utah Jazz.

Blazers team reporter Casey Holdahl reported the timetable Thursday night.

Aminu missed nearly a month last season with a calf injury and the Blazers struggled mightily during his absence.

In their first game without Aminu, the Blazers defeated the Los Angeles Lakers 113-110 after Damian Lillard hit a 3-pointer with 0.7 seconds remaining.

Aminu is currently averaging 9.4 points, 8.1 rebounds and 1.3 blocks per game.
