Poll:
What should be our Spotlight Game for week 4 of Friday Night Football?

PORTLAND -- Tens of thousands of eager fans cast votes this week for KGW Sports' 2013 Friday Night Football Spotlight Game Poll

For week three, Gresham at McNary barely edged out Bend at West Salem to be featured as this week's spotlight game.

Every Friday afternoon, KGW has a new poll for the following week, focusing on three games. As we continue to cover the top ranked and major 6A schools, KGW is also showing some love to smaller schools in our region.

Fans can vote leading up to 12 p.m. Friday when we finalize our coverage plans.

Compete coverage: Friday Night Football

Our week two winner was Parkrose High School, which had the lion’s share of more than 16,000 votes cast. That number was smashed in week three when more than 93,000 votes were cast between games at McNary, West Salem and Sprague high schools.

This season is shaping up to be an intriguing one. Traditional 6A powerhouses Lake Oswego, Central Catholic and Tigard continue to impress with the hopes of dethroning the Sheldon Irish.

In the 5A ranks, no one has been able to slow down Sherwood, which looks to be in the driver’s seat as it tries to go back-to-back.

KGW’s Joe Becker will cover our Game of the Week featuring the top ranked teams in the metro area.
