A warning to the 12th Man at Sunday’s big Seahawks game against the San Francisco 49ers: Be loud to set that world record for crowd noise, but behave while you’re doing it or an undercover cop may kick you out.

The Seahawks are reminding fans that some Seattle police officers will be wearing 49ers gear and patrolling the stadium to find people who are “exhibiting unruly and inconsiderate behavior.”

Among the things that can potentially lead to an ejection:

  • Behavior that is unruly, disruptive or illegal in nature
  • Intoxication or other signs of alcohol or substance impairment that results in irresponsible behavior
  • Foul or abusive language or obscene gestures
  • Interference with the progress of the game (including throwing objects onto the field)
  • Failing to follow instructions of stadium personnel
  • Verbal or physical harassment of opposing team fans
  • Verbal or physical harassment of stadium guests and staff members
  • Smoking or tobacco use on CenturyLink Field property

"We have great fans," said Seahawks president Peter McLoughlin. "Our goal is to ensure a safe environment for all in attendance, including visiting team fans."

Fans who are asked to leave the stadium won’t be allowed back until they complete a four-hour online course which costs $75. The team will let the fan know if they will be allowed back. The Seahawks say fans who return to CenturyLink Field without permission will be slapped with a criminal complaint.

Season ticket holders are also being reminded that they are responsible for anyone using their seats. The worst case scenario is that season tickets could be revoked.

If you’re at the game and you need to report that someone is disrupting your good time, you can send a text to HAWK12 (429512).

Also, don’t forget about the NFL’s new bag policy. Only clear plastic bags that are 12-inches by 6-inches-by 12-inches will be allowed.
