KANSAS CITY, Mo. (AP) — The last few weeks, there's been a sign outside the Chiefs' locker room that read, "Eliminate Bad Football." It was taken down this week and a new sign tacked up Thursday.

This one reads, "Play Good Football."

Coach Romeo Crennel said the message was simple: It's time to replace negative thinking born out of a 1-5 start with some positive thinking heading into Sunday's game against Oakland.

The Chiefs were off last week, giving them a chance to hit the refresh button a season that's spiraling out of control. So in another attempt to change the status quo, Crennel said he swapped out the signs this week to try to get across a positive message to his team.
