CORTLAND, N.Y. (AP) — A look at Tim Tebow's day at New York Jets training camp:
TEBOW TIME: The Jets returned to practice Monday after a day off from the field, and things got chippy during a brawl on the sideline. Tebow worked with the second-team offense, as he has done all camp.
HOW'D HE DO: Tebow and the rest of the offense mostly struggled. He went 3 of 8 passing in team drills and was "sacked" six times. Tebow also got in on the melee, helping pull players off the pile on the sideline.
TEBOWMANIA: Hot Tamale, a Tex-Mex restaurant that opened in April on Cortland's Main Street, has a new item on its menu on during training camp: the Tebow Burrito — a meaty offering complete with chicken, rice, black beans, lettuce and your choice of hot sauce.
TALKING TEBOW: "I have not been disappointed with Tim at all. Once you go to a live situation, it's going to elevate his play. It's not just that he's throwing the ball and all that because he's such a weapon when he takes off with it as well." — Jets coach Rex Ryan on Tebow's play during camp.
