SALEM -- Oregon Governor John Kitzhaber and Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker announced a friendly Rose Bowl wager Friday that included beer on both sides.

As the Ducks get ready to take on the Badgers in Pasadena Monday, Kitzhaber bet a selection of Oregon craft beers, hazelnuts, smoked salmon and Kettle chips that Oregon would win.

“On Monday, in their third consecutive BCS appearance, the Ducks will show Wisconsin what they are made of," he said. “I can’t wait to watch Oregon do what it does best: come together as a team to get the job done."

Walker said if the Badgers lose he'll send Kitzhaber a package of Wisconsin products including: Leinenkugel's beer, Andes mints--produced in his hometown of Delavan--a bottle of wine and, of course, some cheese.

"The Badgers are a quality team, and it is a great Rose Bowl match up," Kitzhaber said, "but I’m looking forward to collecting on Governor Walker’s generous bet.”
