EUGENE, Ore. -- It's back to work for the Ducks and Beavers with Fall training camp starting and opening day for the 2012 college football season just around the corner.

For the first time in 95 years, the Ducks are starting their fall camp as Rose Bowl champs.

Coach Chip Kelly and the team held their first practice after meeting with the media to discuss defending their 3 straight conference titles.

Fall camp can be long and tedious, but on opening day, it's neither of those things.

"Some people are nervous, some are excited. I feel like it's going to be a fun fall camp and we're looking forward to it," said Ducks linebacker Boseko Lokombo.

"It's about the vision of how this whole program is running. We've got really good kids and they're excited to be here," said Coach Kelly.

The Oregon Ducks are ranked No. 5 in the USA Today preseason coaches' poll. The Louisiana State Tigers are ranked No. 1, Alabama Crimson Tide No. 2, and University of Southern California Trojans No. 3.
