CAPE TOWN, South Africa (AP) — Former U.S. Postal Service rider and Lance Armstrong teammate David George has lost another sponsor after admitting to using the blood-boosting drug EPO.

Sports supplement supplier USN said on Wednesday that it has immediately "terminated its association with the professional cyclist" after George's failed doping test was announced Tuesday.

The South African Institute for Drug-Free Sport said the a two-time Commonwealth Games medalist failed an out-of-competition test on Aug. 29. George later admitted using EPO and said he wouldn't challenge the finding.

Ending its relationship with George, USN said it had "a zero tolerance policy on doping in sport" and underlined its "commitment to this as a responsible sports supplement brand."

South African bank Nedbank withdrew its sponsorship of George's 360Life cycling team on Tuesday.
