EUGENE, Ore. -- University of Oregon officials and alumni encouraged fans en route to the Rose Bowl to show their pride by "Ducking" their rides.

“We want to turn I-5 and all of Los Angeles into a sea of yellow and green to showcase fan support for the University of Oregon,” said UO's Susan Thelen. “We’re excited to see cars, vans, trucks, motorhomes and probably even a few motorcycles dressed up for the big contest.”

Participants can upload photos of their vehicles and view a live Twitter feed of other vehicles headed to the game. A grand prize winner will receive a plaque and a $150 Duck Store gift card.

“From the Golden Gate Bridge to the Hollywood sign," UO's Craig Pintens said, "we can’t wait to see California filled with creative Duck fans supporting our school.”
