MADISON, Wisc. -- CBS Sports reported Thursday evening that Oregon State Coach Mike Riley was going to interview for football coaching vacancy at the University of Wisconsin.

CBS cited two unnamed sources.

Oregon State Athletic Director Bob DeCarolis said he has heard nothing about an interview.

Oregonian beat reporter Lindsay Schnell reports that sources tell her the CBS report is false. Corvallis Gazette-Times columnist Cliff Kirkpatrick also said the report is false. He cites no sources.

ESPN's Joe Schaud says the story is false, and Riley told him so.

Angie Machado of beaverblitz.com questions why on Thursday  a Lear jet was scheduled to fly from Waukesha, Wisconsin to Corvallis Oregon.
