Hundreds of fans of the University of Oregon Football team are already booking trips to the National Championship game in Arizona.
An Oregon Alumni club package started at $679 for hotel and events but not airfare or game ticket and run up to $2,294 for airfare, hotels, transportation and other events but not a game ticket. The BCS game ticket starts at $345 each.
Portland's Azumano Travel and Triple-A offered travel packages for either the Rose Bowl or the BCS game which do include game tickets. The packages range from $1,195 for a couple nights in the hotel and events and a game ticket to $2,319 for airfare, hotel, events and game ticket.
Both companies expected lots of orders if the Ducks beat the Beavers Saturday.
"Well, of course last year the interest to the Rose Bowl was outstanding but this started a little earlier and I think its just gonna be off the charts," said Nancy Parrott from Azumano Travel.
Azumano announced travel packages to Glendale on Saturday that included options for those with game tickets and without.
Charter flight times were subject to the discretion of the FAA and will be advised at a later date.
Game tickets included were for end zone, upper level seating. Seating upgrades may be made by making a phone call to Azumano (888-509-9114) the week of December 6th.
Game tickets will be distributed at the hotel in Phoenix.
