Native Seattleite Brandon Roy entered the 2002 NBA draft, then withdrew to attend UW, playing as a Husky during the 2002-2003 season.
He helped lead the team to its first NCAA Tournament berth since 1999.
Roy was selected with the 6th overall pick in the draft by the Minnesota Timberwolves, then immediately traded the Blazers.
Roy was rookie of the year in the 2006-2007 season and selected to the 2008 NBA All-Star Game, where he led the Western Conference and tied for the most points.
