Blazers defeat Grizzlies 113-91

PORTLAND, Ore. -- The Trail Blazers' Travis Outlaw punctuated the winning game over the Memphis Grizzlies with a pair of alley-oop dunks for the final margin.

That put the sold-out Rose Garden crowd on its feet.
The Blazers 113-91 victory over the Grizzlies Tuesday night was not only fun -- but it meant something.
Portland coach Nate McMillan said they wanted to send the message to the fans that the next step is to make the playoffs next year.
The Blazers were coming off a 108-105 victory over Dallas on Saturday night.
Portland had seven players in double figures for the first time since December 29, 2006.
