Roy, an All-Star reserve, was injured in Tuesday night's 102-82 victory over the Washington Wizards.
"I'm not saying there is a guarantee I will be able to come back and play, but if I can, that's my goal," Roy told The Oregonian newspaper in a story posted on its Web site. "Even if it's the last two games, I want to give it a try and finish the season."
Roy, who told the newspaper he believes he'll be out two weeks, averages a team-high 19.3 points and 5.8 assists per game.
The Trail Blazers have 10 games left, and need four more victories to finish with a winning record.
