PORTLAND, Ore. -- Trail Blazers guard Brandon Roy did not accompany the team to Los Angeles, and will sit out the game against the L.A. Lakers.

The Blazers play the Lakers Tuesday. But because of a right ankle sprain, Portland team officials say Roy will not play at Wednesday's L.A. Clippers game either.

The injury, which originally occurred February 13th at Dallas, was aggravated during Sunday's game versus Boston. Roy left the Celtics game in the third quarter and did not return.

The All-Star is listed as day-to-day for Friday's home game versus the Lakers.
