Blazers guard Roy's MRI results in

Results of Brandon Roy's MRI show that the Trail Blazers guard aggravated a right ankle sprain that he sustained against the Dallas Mavericks on February 13th.

Blazers rookie Brandon Roy in his pro debut against the team he grew up rooting for, the Seattle Sonics.

Roy did The team said ot accompany the team to Los Angeles, and will sit out Tuesday's game at the L.A. Lakers and Wednesday's game at the L.A. Clippers.

Roy, an All-Star reserve and last season's Rookie of the Year, left for the locker room in the third quarter while playing the Celtics Sunday night.

The Celtics trailed by as many as 17 points in the first half, but gained control in the second when the Blazers struggled without Roy.

The Trail Blazers lost to the Celtics 112 to 102.
