CORVALLIS, Ore. -- Oregon State University suspended two key players on its basketball team Tuesday for an unspecified violation of team rules.
“They will be allowed to participate with the team in summer workouts and strength/conditioning activities while attending summer school classes,” Robinson said in a prepared statement.
Moreland had hinted last winter at turning pro but decided to return to Oregon state.
"I have a great group of guys here and we have a really special team, not only on the court, but we have chemistry that you just want to be a part of," he said April 15. "I would love to come back another year and play with them and get to the NCAA tournament and have a great year."
Moreland holds school records in career blocked shots average; single-season blocked shots; second in total blocked shots and the first player since Mel Counts in 1964 to average rebounds in double-figures.
Collier played in all 32 games last year, averaging 12.6 points and six rebounds a game.
