Oregon State did not crack the top 25. Rather, the Badgers dropped out of the rankings in both polls. The Beavers did get 77 votes in the AP poll, to Wisconsin's 44.

UCLA's upset of Nebraska earned the school a 22 AP ranking.

Alabama was again top-ranked. USC was second in the AP poll and third in USA Today, trading spots with LSU.

Arkansas, ranked 8th before a humbling loss to Louisiana Monroe, also dropped out of the rankings along with Nebraska and Oklahoma State.
